Minisites are simple websites usually setup to help promote good domain names. These target certain key terms in the search engines, and may have 5-50 pages together with the ability to add news. We offer a simple and cheap way to get the best return on your domain portfolio.

The Selkirk minisite is a good example of how the simple theme works. This is actually both a tourist guide and a directory (behind the scenes). The site ranks on page 1 for “selkirk” and gives you a good idea of how the site works and the quality of the content.

If you need to create a directory then we have a database of UK businesses for most business categories, or you can can provide the information in a csv format. This package includes the standard minisite with content  features plus:

  • Submit page to allow new listings to be submitted by visitors (spam protected)
  • Bulk upload of business information which creates posts. We can design the post pages in any way you like.
  • We can also upload datafeeds such as Laterooms (See www.hotels-uk.co.uk)

Leeds Directory

The Leeds Directory uses the Minisite Directory template and this version features 3 unique content pages, together with a database of 20,000 business listings. Revenue is from Adsense. There is a form to allow new businesses to add their listings as well.

  • This package involves submitting your completed minisite to 100 directories – comes with a spreadsheet detailing which websites your minisite was submitted to.

 

NOTES & TERMS

  • Discounts are available for long term projects of 5 or more sites
  • Hosting can be a problem – so you must present us with a working up-to-date WordPress install already set up and working and FTP access
  • Payment is due immediately after the site has been completed
  • We are happy to host your site this is £25+vat per year
